Class Descriptions.

CrossFit

Urban’s CrossFit core focus is functional fitness. Functional movements reflect the best aspects of weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing and more. Learn how to lift and move weight in a safe and controlled environment. You can expect to use a dynamic range of equipment including barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, rowers, bikes & more.

We combine these movements into group classes that typically include a warmup, mobility, strength development and all varieties of cardio, led by one of our highly trained & certified coaches. We welcome all fitness abilities.

Class Length: 60 minutes

Spin & Sculpt.

Urban’s SPIN & SCULPT consists of 30 minutes of spin followed by 15 minutes of strength exercises with free weights.

Class length: 45 minutes

 

Upper Body Class

Urban’s Upper Body class is all about sculpting the arms with targeted exercises for the triceps, shoulders, biceps & upper back. We will use barbells, dumbbells, bands & more.

Metcon

Urban’s Metcon class focuses on developing outstanding cardio, endurance and technique. We use functional movements involving our bodyweight, rowers, bikes, kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, resistance bands & more. Every workout & movement of class is modifiable to accommodate different skill levels, fitness levels, and even injuries

Urban HIIT

This upbeat heart pumping class will improve your endurance & stamina. You will move through a series of bodyweight movements to tighten, tone, and strengthen your core & glutes. Get ready to feel the burn & totally tone that body!

Recover & Restore

Urban’s Recover & Restore Yoga is for those looking to relax & recover. Postures are held for long periods of time in order to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system and to encourage the body and mind to experience complete surrender. This is an ideal class for anyone seeking to stretch, slow down, connect to their breath, and restore body, mind and spirit.

Spin

Lights down Low, music up high.

Urban’s SPIN is an upbeat, heart pumping, indoor cycling experience; blended with rhythm-based jogs, sprints & climbs. Classes are set to unique playlists and each instructor is different – keeping you energized, inspired, and challenged. Urban believes in the power of music and its influence on your ride. You’ll be sweating, dancing & having the time of your life.

Glutes & Core

This class focuses on building strength in your glutes and abdominal muscles. Most exercises are done on the mat, and while they predominantly target the abs and glutes we are also sculpting all the other muscles including: hips, quads, and back. The burn will be REAL!
